Signed "Rōkansai saku" [Made by Rōkansai]

The old well- bucket shape was also adopted for ceramics and used as Mizusahi (fresh water container) and favoured by tea masters.

The hakogaki box is sealed with a distinctive three-interlinked-seal “Rō-kan-sai”, which is reproduced in the catalogue Iizuka Rōkansai ten

The original wrapping cloth is sealed with his name “Rōkansaiらうかん斎”
