Waka-onna represents a young woman between seventeen and twenty-five years old.
She looks like Ko-omote, but her cheekbones and eyes are slightly higher and her smile wider.
Waka-onna masks did not exist in Zeami's time, their creation dates from the Tokugawa era and they were used only by the Kanze school.
